You must have heard a thousand times that one must settle down in life but that could be far from the truth. There is never a time in life when we have truly settled down because even if we are married or have bought a house or our kids are going to school, life is about sustenance.
We are trying to sustain our relationships, we are trying to sustain our household income and loan repayments, we are sustaining our career to give our kids a good life.
So, settling down is the biggest myth. We never truly are at peace and settled down and it’s ok.
While we believe we are ordinary people and trying to settle down, there are some people who are steadily growing in their businesses. When we look at them we like to believe that they are extraordinary people with extraordinary skills which is not the case.
We all humans have been gifted with the same brain power as anybody else. It’s just how much we use that brain power that makes us get different and sometimes extraordinary results.
Now that we have put all the myths at rest, it’s time to deep dive into the process of building a personal brand. So here we go.
The solution to achieve extraordinary success and unlimited income is to build a personal brand. At present you might think that building your personal brand could be a far fetched dream but if you keep that reservation aside, in today’s world, it is only when people know you, like you and trust you, do they connect with you and eventually buy your thoughts, ideas and suggestions.
Everytime you decide to offer some products or services, people will google your name to find out how authentic you are, how much you can be trusted and whether someone can work with you in the long run.
Whether you are a coach, consultant or an entrepreneur, you will reach greater heights only when your personal brand speaks volumes about your expertise in the specific domain.
So here are a few strategies to get started with building your personal brand.
The biggest mistake people make when building their personal brand is the non-selection of a micro-niche. They believe that they can serve anybody and everybody. If you are one of them, then here is an example that you must always remember.
Who makes more money? A general practitioner of medicine or a specialist doctor or surgeon?
Obviously, a surgeon or a specialist doctor makes way more even when they are dealing with one single area of expertise or body part.
Why do you think that is the case?
Because when you dig 10000 feet deeper into your domain of expertise, you gain way more knowledge and expertise than any random person out there.

For example: As a physio, you could only work with sports people compared to fixing any Tom, Dick and Harry. Or You could be a physio who only works with arm injuries or knee injuries.
Now you might think, how can you become a millionaire or billionaire by just catering to a small subset of people. Think again. Who gets paid more? A generalist or a specialist?
Once you master your micro-niche, slowly and steadily because of the quality and expertise of your work, people come to you from all walks of life, from all over the world because they want their problem solved at any cost.
You must have heard of the saying that “Clarity is worth a million dollars” and it is so true. When a person is clear about their goals, their direction, their values, it can empower you so much that you become unstoppable.
